Full Stack Web Developer & UX Designer
I build pixel-perfect, accessible web applications with clean code and considered user experience. With 8+ years across web development and UX design, I bring both design thinking and technical execution to every engagement.
I'm Thomas Jacob (Tom), a full stack web developer building digital applications that end-users find genuinely useful. I spent 7 years working as a UX Designer at organisations including McKinsey, NewsCorp, and Telstra, as well as startups Tarnea and Terem.
Throughout that time I've continued developing on the side, and the rise of practical AI tooling has accelerated how quickly I can pick up new stacks — most recently exploring LangChain and LLM-based application design.
I'm a problem-solver at heart, working primarily in C#/.NET, PHP/Laravel, and React, across platforms including Umbraco, ASP.NET, WordPress, Shopify, and Node.js. I take pride in writing clean, efficient, pixel-perfect front-end code, and in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented web applications that meet WCAG AAA accessibility standards.
Here are some of my recent web development projects showcasing my skills in full-stack development, AI integration, and e-commerce solutions.
