Hello, my name is Thomas Jacob (call me Tom) and I'm obsessed with coding, the idea of being able to create digital applications that end-users find useful. I've worked in the industry as a UX Designer for 7 years at companies like McKinsey, NewsCorp, and Telstra, as well as startups like Tarnea and Terem.
All the while, I've been coding on the side. With the onset of AI, it has become so much easier for me to upskill and I find myself coding more and more, exploring new concepts like LangChain and LLMs.
I am a problem-solver at heart and deeply passionate about HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, Python and MySQL. I really pride myself on crafting clean, efficient, and pixel-perfect front-end code that enhances the user experience and I'm confident in my ability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented web applications that are WCAG AAA accessibility compliant.
